Service & Work Guarantee Policy — Handy Goodman
1. Scope of Guarantee
Handy Goodman guarantees workmanship on services we perform. This guarantee covers defects in the quality of the labor performed by Handy Goodman for the original client at the original service location.
2. Guarantee Period
Our workmanship guarantee lasts for 1 year from the date of completion, unless a different timeframe is specified in a written contract.
3. What Is Covered
We will repair or, at our option, replace work found to be defective due to our workmanship at no additional labor cost to the customer within the guarantee period.
4. What Is Not Covered
This guarantee does not cover:
• Material defects (covered, if at all, by the material manufacturer’s warranty);
• Damage due to normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, improper maintenance, or acts of God (storms, floods, etc.);
• Work altered or repaired by others after our completion without our written consent;
• New or separate work performed after the original project completion.

Please provide your name, service address, contract/estimate number (if available), a description of the issue, and photos if possible. We will evaluate the claim and schedule any necessary inspection or repair.
6. Remedies and Limits
Remedies under this guarantee are limited to repair or replacement of the defective workmanship. Handy Goodman’s liability is limited to the original contract price for the affected work. We are not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages.
7. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally. If informal resolution fails, disputes will be handled in accordance with the terms of any written contract or applicable law.
8. Acceptance
By hiring Handy Goodman for services, the customer acknowledges and accepts the terms of this Service & Work Guarantee Policy as described above.
